Standard Terms & Conditions (Noorishta)

Scope. These Terms apply to all enquiries, reservations, offers, invoices and sales of artworks by Noorishta (“Gallery”) to any client (“Collector”). No checkout is offered online; all transactions are concluded off-site via invoice.

1. Enquiries & Reservations. Availability is subject to prior sale. The Gallery may hold a work for a short, agreed period upon written confirmation; a deposit may be required.

2. Prices & Taxes. Prices are quoted in the currency stated on the invoice and may be changed prior to invoice. Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices exclude shipping, packing, insurance, installation, framing, import/export duties, VAT/GST and any bank charges, which are payable by the Collector.

3. Payment Terms. Invoices are due within 7 days (or as stated on the invoice). Title to the work passes only upon cleared funds in full. Late balances may incur statutory interest or a fixed administrative fee. The Gallery may suspend delivery or cancel a sale if payment is not received on time.

4. Authenticity & Documentation. Each work is sold as authentic. Where applicable, a certificate of authenticity (COA) or equivalent documentation is provided after full payment. The Gallery’s liability is limited to the original purchase price.

5. Condition & Images. All works are sold “as viewed.” Any condition report or photography is provided in good faith as an opinion only. Minor variations in colour/texture between images and the actual work are not defects.

6. Shipping, Export & Risk. Shipping and insurance are arranged on request after payment, at the Collector’s cost and risk from collection by the carrier. The Collector is responsible for export/import formalities, taxes and permits. Delivery dates are estimates.

7. Cancellations & Returns. Custom, commissioned, or framed works are non-cancellable. For other sales, cancellations are at the Gallery’s sole discretion. Returns are not accepted unless required by non-waivable consumer law and only if the work is returned in the same condition and packaging.

8. Intellectual Property. No copyright or reproduction rights are transferred with the sale. Any images supplied are for private reference only unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Privacy. Personal data is handled per our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

10. Force Majeure. The Gallery is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control.

11. Liability Cap. The Gallery’s total liability arising from a sale is limited to the price paid for the work.

12. Governing Law & Disputes. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan (update if you prefer another jurisdiction). Courts of Amman have exclusive jurisdiction.
