Privacy

We collect only what is necessary to respond to your enquiries and manage viewings—typically your name, contact details, and the content of your message. We may also record basic website analytics (see Cookies).

  • Use of data. We use your information to reply to enquiries, schedule viewings, manage consignments, share catalogues or press materials you request, and maintain our collector records.
  • Legal bases. Consent (when you submit a form), legitimate interests (running the gallery and responding to requests), and compliance with legal obligations.
  • Sharing. We do not sell your data. Limited sharing may occur with service providers (e.g., email, website hosting, CRM) under appropriate contracts.
  • Retention. We keep enquiry records for as long as reasonably necessary for gallery operations or as required by law, then delete or anonymise them.
  • Your rights. You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

Terms

Enquiry-only website. Noorishta does not accept payments online. All sales, reservations, and services are arranged directly with our team after an enquiry.

Information on the site. Artwork details, pricing indications, availability, and event information are provided in good faith and may change without notice.

Intellectual property. All content (images, text, marks, and design) is owned by Noorishta or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse it without prior written permission.

No advice. Content is for general information only and does not constitute legal, financial, or investment advice.

Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Noorishta is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Courts of Amman shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Authenticity & Provenance

Noorishta undertakes appropriate due diligence on artworks we present. Where available, we provide provenance details, literature references, and exhibition history. Works sold by the gallery are accompanied by an invoice and—where applicable—a certificate of authenticity (COA) issued by the artist, estate, or gallery. Condition notes and additional documentation can be supplied upon request prior to purchase.


Viewing & Shipping (Enquiry)

Viewing. Viewings are by request and subject to Noorishta team availability. We will confirm proposed dates, location, and any special handling requirements in writing.

Reserving works. Reservations, hold periods, and any deposits are agreed individually with the gallery team and confirmed by email.

Sales, payment & taxes. Because checkout is not available online, payment terms, applicable taxes, and any third-party fees are agreed directly with Noorishta and confirmed on invoice.

Packing & shipping. Upon purchase, we can recommend specialist art shippers or coordinate packing and transit on your behalf. Risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier unless otherwise agreed in writing. Insurance during transit is available at the buyer’s request and expense.

Returns. Given the nature of fine art, returns are not accepted unless required by applicable law or agreed in writing before purchase.

Export & permits. Buyers are responsible for any export/import formalities, permits, and duties; we can assist with documentation where possible.


Changes to These Policies

We may update this page to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. The “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.
