About Noorishta

Noorishta is grounded in Amman, Jordan, a city where Levantine histories meet a contemporary gaze. Our programme prioritises artists from the region and its diaspora, presenting work with international standards while staying attentive to local context, materials, and narratives.

Noorishta is a contemporary art gallery in Amman with a collector-led programme of exhibitions, private viewings, and advisory. We exist to make collecting art calm, clear, and deeply personal, bridging regional substance with international standards. Our approach is editorial rather than transactional: fewer works, more focus, and a commitment to the long view.

Noorishta began as a private collection shaped by travel, conversations with artists, and a love of materials. What started in living rooms and studios now lives in a gallery space designed for quiet looking. We bring that collector’s sensibility to everything we do, selectivity, care, and the belief that the best collections tell a coherent story over time.

Each artwork passes through a clear curatorial lens-context, provenance, technique, and relevance. We prioritise artists with strong studio practice and credible exhibition histories, and we present them in tightly curated shows. Fewer gestures, stronger statements. Research, condition reports, and thoughtful installation are the baseline, not the exception.

Collecting is personal. We keep it that way. Prices are shared on request, and conversations remain confidential. Provenance and authenticity are rigorously documented; certificates and literature accompany acquisitions. We manage logistics end-to-end with care—insurance, handling, and condition oversight at each step.

We present a focused rhythm across the year:

  • Exhibitions that introduce or deepen an artist’s presence in the region.

  • Private Viewings tailored to collectors’ interests, in-gallery or on-site.

  • Advisory for building, editing, or placing collections with clarity and intent.

Each strand feeds the other, keeping the programme intimate yet internationally relevant.

Access to Culture

Beyond sales, we create pathways into the work, artist talks, concise essays, and studio visits. We collaborate with designers, institutions, and corporates where it enhances dialogue, not noise. Our aim is simple: help more people enjoy living with art, with substance over spectacle.
