Ali Jabiri

Ali Jabri (1943–2002)

Ali Jabri was a Syrian‑born visual artist whose multidisciplinary practice incorporated

drawing, collage, pastels, and mixed media to reflect modern life, cultural narratives, and

social observation. He worked mostly from Amman, Jordan, and his body of published work

captures urban experience with a reflective and distinctive visual voice. He exhibited in the

Sharjah Biennial and other regional programs, leaving a lasting influence on contemporary

Arab art.
