Adel Siwi

Adel El Siwi (born 1952, Beheira, Egypt)

Adel El Siwi is an influential Egyptian contemporary painter best known for his expressive

elongated figures and faces, which blend references from Egyptian popular culture,

mythology, and expressive art. His unique visual language, developed through both Egyptian

and Italian influences, bridges expressive color and symbolic storytelling. El Siwi has

exhibited widely and played a prominent role in contemporary Egyptian art dialogues.
